AOS-System AOS system – the patented Active Oscillation Suppression system compensates for the jolts and sudden load changes which occur during crane operation. In that the crane’s stress oscillations are suppressed the work can proceed much more quickly and cost-efficiently.
Continuous slewing system Above 25 mt, PALFINGER cranes are available with a continuous slewing system. The slew ring represents ’state-of-the-art design’ and combines high slewing torque with precise movements control.
Finite elements technology High-tech crane manufacture – for years now all the load-bearing parts have been computer designed applying finite elements technology, to ensure an optimised weight-saving design.
Fly-Jibs PALFINGER fly-jibs are impressive due to their low dead weight (use of STE 1100 steel), long hydraulic outreaches and a knuckle-boom system which can be angled upwards.
Radio remote control Radio remote control – offers maximum safety and convenience. The display module integrated in the control panel continuously informs the crane operator about the capacity status of the crane.
Interlock-System PALFINGER sets new standards of safety with its outrigger locking system for which a patent is pending. It is the most modern and convenient solution for securing the outriggers.
Crane geometry The superior movement geometry of PALFINGER cranes was developed using computer animation. Boom lengths and working speeds are perfectly matched.
KTL KTL – the cataphoretic dip paint system. The shot-blasted crane parts are covered in zinc phosphate in an immersion process and coated electro-statically. The subsequent two-component top coating of paint provides a surface protection which in the past was common only in the automotive industry.
Load holding valves Load holding valves are fitted as standard on the elevating and knuckle-boom cylinder as well as on the extension boom. Their position protects against damage, and their purpose is to prevent uncontrolled lowering of the booms.
PALTRONIC 50 The modern electronic safety system offers convenience functions which increase the working efficiency of the crane and make the crane operator’s job easier.
POWER LINK PLUS POWER LINK PLUS – the knuckle boom, which can be angled upwards, is an outstanding feature. The resulting excellent movement geometry can greatly assist when working in tight spaces.
Production The hexagonal boom sections are made from one piece and have only one weld seam. A PALFINGER special process which guarantees precision and stability with low dead weight.
