In principle, PALFINGER takes on an active role when shaping standards and guidelines concerning products through its membership of various associations. For instance, for many years now the company has been a member of the Austrian Working Group for Corporate Governance.
PALFINGER has been included in the Austrian Sustainability Index (VÖNIX) ever since this share index was established by VBV Pensionskasse and is listed as an above-average stock in sutainable funds according to the FER SRI AG Ratio. In addition to cooperation projects with local education organisations and institutes PALFINGER has been a long-standing partner of AMREF and ICEP, the Institute of Cooperation for Development Projects, as well as its corporAID initiative. Furthermore, PALFINGER is a member of the Austrian CSR network respACT.
In order to highlight the significance of CSR, sustainability reports are checked by a third-party application level carried out by independent accredited experts. Once again PALFINGER received an application level of A+ according to the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 Guidelines.
Numerous awards in this area also confirm the commitment of PALFINGER.
