J Coates (Garage Services) Limited evolved from J Coates HGV Services Limited which was started in 1971 by John Coates. The garage was the fleet workshop for HGV Services and then in 1988 Garages Services was formed as a stand alone company specialising in the service, supply and installation of Tail Lifts and Shutter Doors. It rapidly gained a reputation as the market leader in the Leicestershire area and was quickly appointed service agent for RATCLIFF PALFINGER.
We also fit, repair and maintain tail lifts fitted to accessible transport vehicles.
We now have two depots, one in Leicester and the other in Nottingham. Our ten service vans cover Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and parts of Lincolnshire, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our parts department at Nottingham and Leicester can offer the end user stock and parts, computerised stock control and delivery service backed by a fleet of 3 parts delivery vehicles.
