The company's main activity is the production of truck upgrades, trailers and semi-trailers, as well as the representation of the renowned Austrian manufacturer of hydraulic truck cranes – PALFINGER - in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania. They employ about a hundred employees in the Republic of Croatia, mostly in production, and some twenty in the own companies PALFINGER SRBIJA d.o.o. in Belgrade and PALFINGER BH d.o.o. in Sarajevo. The products, in addition to the above-mentioned countries, are exported to Germany, Austria, Dubai
and Finland.
The agency started working in 1992, and the first two cranes were sold in 1993. Since then, sales have slightly grown from year to year.
The company PK-PALFINGER KRAN is the winner of several significant economic recognitions:
- 2005 - Zlatna kuna /Golden kuna/ for the most successful medium-sized company in the county
- 2005 - Prva hrvatska kuna /The first Croatian kuna/ for the largest 1% in 2005
- 2006 – awarded the Croatian Gazela /Gazelle/, as one of the fastest growing economic entities in the period from 2003 to 2005, with an increase in revenue of more than 20%
- 2007 - awarded Croatian Gazela /Gazelle/, as one of the fastest growing economic entities in the period from 2004 to 2006, with an increase in revenue of more than 30%
- 2008 - awarded Croatian Gazela /Gazelle/, as one of the fastest growing business entities in the period from 2005 to 2007, with an increase in revenue of more than 30%
- 2007 – 10th place for the best employer (by anonymous selection of employees) among the best middle and small companies in the Republic of Croatia according to the Best Employers Survey conducted by the web portal Moj posao.
- 2013. - HUM CROMA awarded Nataša Rakovac-Rustja Manager of the Year
