GENERAL INFORMATION:

Corporate Information Systems (IS) at PALFINGER consists of three main areas: Infrastructure and Operations (IO), Software Development (SD) and Business Applications (BA). The IO department coordinates our outsourcing partners, runs the internal SAP Helpdesk and is responsible for the operation of the entire infrastructure including telephony and Blackberry service. The SD department undertakes programming in the area of technical calculation tools (PALSOFT-Suite), design-related applications (CAD, product lifecycle management) and workflow and portal applications (Intranet, Extranet and websites). The area of duties of the BA department comprises the coordination, control and development of all the requirements affecting the SAP system and all other business applications (e.g. MIS, HR, etc.).

 

AREAS OF DUTIES:

  • Designing, producing and collaborating on:
    • Software architectures
    • Software applications
    • The production of PALFINGER product data
  • Securing software developments and application versions
  • Developing new functionalities or product-related software as client and web applications in accordance with the requirements of the specialist departments (Service, Design, Marketing)
  • Coordinating implementations of software requirements (external and internal) as well as integrating supplied components and consolidation into a functional software product
  • Testing the functionalities of product-related software in accordance with the requirements of the specialist departments
  • Second level support for the software produced

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical training (university of applied sciences or technical university, specialising in IT, mechatronics, electronics, communications engineering)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Cost Center Steelwork manufactures security-relevant steel components for crane building. For this we use highest strength fine-grained construction steel, and correctly processing this construction material demands great know-how, compliance with strict regulations and continuous process monitoring. The additional requirements of various customers further increase these minimum standards for our welding personnel. 
For this reason it is especially important for the manual skills and the fundamental specialist knowledge of the tack welders and welders used in steel construction to be demonstrated by welding tests. 
These employees are part of a dynamic team and are familiarised with a wide variety of tasks.

 

AREAS OF DUTIES:

  • Carrying out welding works according to plans and technical welding drawings

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Training in a metal trade
  • Valid MAG welding test (EN 287-1, BW + FW, construction materials group 2, ml)
  • Very good practical experience of MAG welding

GENERAL INFORMATION:

AREAS OF DUTIES:

As a matter of principle, we require mastery of at least one of the following tasks:

  • Hardware development for security-focused embedded control systems
  • Operating system programming
  • Software application programming for security-focused Palfinger control systems
  • Control technology with a focus on hydraulic systems
  • Mechatronics with a focus on sensory applications and sensor integration
  • Electrical engineering design and compilation of parts lists

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Higher technical education institute, university of applied sciences or university qualification in mechatronics/electronics/electrical engineering 
  • Several years’ professional experience in one of the above disciplines would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in the field of security-oriented controls

GENERAL INFORMATION:

PALFINGER sells its products worldwide, partly via general agents. These work in their own sales territory via their own network of sales and service centres.

  • Order processing from the issuing of the quotation (SAP R/3) through to delivery

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The assembly department consists of a slim production support team and several assembly teams with clear responsibilities. 
The production support team brings together the cost centre management, process operators, working methods, quality assurance, logistics production and logistics scheduling.

  • Setting, programming and testing the electric components
  • Rectifying faults and problems with the finished product
  • Pre-assembly and pre-wiring of special construction sets

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The PALFINGER customer service department is a pivotal point in the worldwide PALFINGER service network. Fast, professional and unbureaucratic support for the PALFINGER general agents on technical questions takes absolute priority in customer service at PALFINGER. Customer-oriented thinking and flexibility are essential strengths of the highly qualified customer service team, alongside many years of practical experience. 

Our general agents receive personal support from the PALFINGER customer service department through clearly defined contacts via e-mail, phone and also on site. At the same time the customer service technicians are also responsible for handling warranty claims and goodwill enquiries quickly and above all fairly in terms of our customers.

  • Technical support for the general agents by phone, email and on the spot

GENERAL INFORMATION:

As an Accounts Payable Accountant you will be part of the Corporate Finance & Risk Management department, to be specific part of the Accounts Payable Management Team. 
The Corporate Finance & Risk Management department comprises the three main areas Shared Service Center (management of accounts payable, management of accounts receivable, financial accounting and payroll), External Financial Reporting and Risk Management & Internal Audit.
