PALFINGER is searching for an Assembler to work in the Oklahoma City, OK facility. We are located at 341 NW 122nd Street, Oklahoma City, OK, 73114. This position reports to the Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

L-0

  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in assembly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Basic hand tools and how to use them.
  • Construct and assemble sub-assemblies and assemble components, including shafts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes & conveyor components, with instruction from the lead or supervisor.
  • Fitting and assembly operations with instruction from the lead or supervisor.
  • Knowledge of and some ability to read blueprints and bills of materials.

L-1 

  • One (1) year to two (2) years of experience in assembly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Basic hand tools and how to use them.
  • Construct and assemble sub-assemblies and assemble components, including shafts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes & conveyor components. This will include Wiring and Hydraulics to the chasse with very little instruction from the lead or supervisor.
  • Fitting and assembly operations with very little instruction from the lead or supervisor.
  • Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints and bills of materials.
  • Willing to coach and mentor and train new starts on some assembly processes.

L-2

  • Three (3)+ years of experience in assembly preferred.
  • Construct and assemble sub-assemblies and assemble components, including shafts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes & Wiring, and Hydraulics to chassis without lead or supervisors’ supervision. 
  • Fitting and assembly operations.
  • Repair/refit of products as required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Read blueprints and bills of materials.
  • Setting all critical components and performing essential tasks of assembly with the heist of quality without supervision.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and repair without or very little outside help.
  • Willing to coach and mentor and train new starts on assembly processes with very little guidance from the lead or supervisor. 
  • Willing to problem solve and give solutions and inputs and take sustainable actions.  

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, history of monitoring own work to ensure quality.
  • Possesses ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and has the ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.

  • Actively observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a very fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
